Shineplus Adds UL21613, Its 274th UL758 Certification, on October 20, 2026: 80℃ PVC Internal Wiring
UL21613 Officially Added to Our UL Certification Scope
Shineplus is pleased to announce that on October 20, 2026, the standard UL21613 was officially added to the existing UL certification scope of the company. From this date, the 80 °C PVC internal wiring for electronic machines produced by Shineplus can be supplied together with third-party verified evidence of compliance against UL21613, in addition to the certifications our overseas customers already rely on.
For our partners in North America, Europe and other regulated markets, this is more than a paperwork update. It is a documented, independently verified statement that our wiring products have been assessed against an additional safety standard — and that our factory system can maintain that conformity in continuous production, not only in a single sample submission. UL21613 is also the 274th UL758 certification obtained by Shineplus, a record built over years of appliance wiring material compliance.
Product Details: What UL21613 Covers Here
The new scope relates to internal wiring used inside electronic machines and equipment — the insulated conductors routed within the enclosure to connect modules, boards, motors and controls. Key parameters are summarised below:
| Parameter | Detail |
|---|---|
| Application | Internal wiring of electronic machines and equipment |
| Rated temperature | 80 °C |
| Rated voltage | No single fixed voltage rating is specified by the standard; the applicable rating is determined by construction and end-use application, and is confirmed item by item against the customer drawing |
| Insulation / jacket | PVC (polyvinyl chloride) as the general insulation and jacket material |
| Typical routing | Fixed or occasional-flex internal connections inside electronic machines |
Because UL21613 does not fix a voltage rating, Shineplus always asks buyers for working voltage, ambient temperature and routing conditions before recommending a construction, so the certified construction matches the real application.
What the New Scope Means in Practice
- Scope extension, not a new company certificate: UL21613 is now part of the scope Shineplus already holds, effective October 20, 2026.
- Unchanged production: the addition was completed on the same production lines, with the same PVC compounds and process controls, so consistency for existing orders is not affected.
- Fully traceable: the certification scope, effective date and covered wiring families are recorded in our quality documentation and can be quoted in tenders, technical files and customs enquiries.
- Audited follow-up: the scope is maintained under UL's ongoing factory follow-up service, so conformity is re-verified during regular inspections rather than being a one-off result.

How the Addition Was Completed
The scope extension followed a four-stage process coordinated by our engineering, quality and production teams:
- Technical review and sample selection. Our engineers reviewed UL21613 against the internal wiring families already on our certificate and selected samples from current mass production.
- Third-party evaluation. The samples were submitted to UL for assessment against the requirements of the standard, with construction, PVC insulation and critical components reviewed in detail at 80 °C rating.
- Documentation and factory review. Our quality documentation, material controls and routine production tests were reviewed to confirm conformity in serial production.
- Scope update issued. On October 20, 2026, the extended scope was formally issued and released to the Shineplus sales and export teams.
What It Means for Our Customers
- Shorter compliance cycles. Importers and brand owners can reference a supplier already holding the additional scope, reducing parallel re-testing at project stage.
- Lower market-access risk. Where retailers, specifiers or authorities request UL21613, we respond immediately instead of scheduling new testing.
- Fit-for-application selection. With the 80 °C rating and PVC construction confirmed, we can match wire to your working voltage and routing conditions in one round of communication.
- Consistent quality. The scope is protected by routine factory inspection, not a one-time report.
Documents Available on Request
Buyers, distributors and consultants may request from Shineplus the updated certificate showing the UL21613 scope, the scope page dated October 20, 2026, a declaration of conformity and related test documentation where applicable. Please include your target market, working voltage and application so that we can send the exact document set you need.
Looking Ahead
Certification is a continuous commitment, not a single milestone. Shineplus will keep extending its testing and quality programmes in line with the standards our customers and their regulators require, and we will report each new scope addition as it is confirmed. For samples, quotations or compliance documentation on the newly added UL21613 internal wiring scope, please contact the Shineplus export team.
